Clark Downs Overall No. 1 Seed In ITA Regionals

BLACKSBURG, Va. -
Senior Erin Clark defeated #36 Michaela Kissell of Marshall, who was the overall No. 1 seed in the ITA Regional Tournament, 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinal round tomorrow.
Clark previously defeated Laura Simon of Longwood and Anik Cepeda of William & Mary before facing Kissell.
"Erin works harder than anyone I know," said head coach Mark Wesselink. "She deserves this win. Her hard work really paid off today."
Clark continues action in the ITA Regionals in Blacksburg, Va. tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
