WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Senior Dani Pycroft scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season as the Richmond field hockey team defeated West Chester 2-0 Friday.
Pycroft scored her third game-winning goal of the season and the 27th goal of her career just 4:13 into the game on an assist from freshman Chelsea Davies.
That was how the score remained until freshman Jessica Hollis scored her third goal of the season in the final two minutes of the match.
Richmond freshman goalkeeper Anna Zarkoski made three saves in recording her second shutout of the season.
The Spiders play at La Salle on Sunday at noon.
