UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
Freshman Jesse Feder was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week after defeating Maryland's No. 2 Sergio Wyss, 7-5, 6-7 (3), 10-6.
"Jesse has been terrific for us all year long," said head coach Billy Boykin. "He's a great competitor and a tireless worker. He's a lot of fun to watch."
Feder now holds a 7-2 record in dual matches this season, with wins over William and Mary, Old Dominion and Maryland.
Feder has posted five consecutive singles wins in matches over Longwood, Christopher Newport, Mary Washington, ODU and Maryland.
