Men's Tennis Topples West Virginia State, 7-0

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
The Richmond men's tennis team (10-11) won three straight this weekend with victories over Winston-Salem State, West Virginia State and North Carolina Central. The Spiders recorded 7-0 victories in each match.
"Overall, this was a great weekend for us," said head coach Billy Boykin. "We played solid tennis in all three matches and we will try to carry this momentum with us into the conference tournament."
The Spiders easily handled Winston-Salem State earlier in the day then went on for the 7-0 victory over West Virginia State followed by a 7-0 victory over North Carolina Central the next day.
Richmond plays at Navy and Morgan State next weekend before heading to the 2010 A-10 Championship in Monroeville, Pa. April 16th-18th.
