Fauchet, Feder Garner Men's Tennis All Conference Accolades

Freshman Sebastien Fauchet was tabbed the 2010 Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Rookie Peformer in voting conducted among the Conference's head coaches, while classmate Jesse Feder earned second team honors.
Fauchet is the first Spider to earn Most Outstanding Rookie Performer honors. Fauchet also grabbed first team accolades for his efforts in his freshman campaign.
Fauchet led Richmond with a 19-8 record, including 15-5 in dual action. Fauchet was a two-time A-10 Player of the Week after going undefeated in conference play. Fauchet also knocked off Philippe Oudshoorn of top-ranked Virginia on Mar. 24. The Rochester, N.Y. native also won 11 straight matches and was 2-2 in doubles play.
Fellow freshman Jesse Feder was named to the All Conference second team after following Fauchet with stellar play at No. 2 singles. The Plantation, Fla. native went 18-4 in dual match play and 4-0 in conference play. Feder ended his freshman season having won 16 of his last 18 matches, including a win over Maryland.
Both Fauchet and Feder led Richmond to 12 wins this season, its most since 2005.
