Feder Finishes Strong at UVA Tournament

The Spider men's tennis team completed play at the UVA Fall Classic tournament on Sunday with strong performances from senior Jesse Feder (Plantation, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas).
Feder finished the tournament taking fifth place in the Blue Singles bracket after defeating Mrogan State's Duk Young Park 6-3, 6-4. Feder went 3-1 on the evening. In doubles play senior Aaron Wicker(Louisville, Ky./ Dupont Manual High School) and Feder took third place in the Doubles Blue group with a 8-5 victory over Eastern Tennessee State University's Ordeig/Prabon. Wicker and Feder were 2-1 on the weekend with their one loss being to Virginia Tech's Koontz/ Gomez.
Dylan Trent finished the weekend 2-1 in the White Singles grouping. His one loss came in the semifinals against Eastern Tennessee State's Roger Ordeig. Trent took Ordeig to three sets in the semifinals, 6-2,5-7, 6-2.
The team is back in action at the three-day Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem starting on Friday Oct. 12
