Spider Baseball To Host Prospect Camp In October

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - University of Richmond Spiders baseball will host a High School Prospect Camp this October at Pitt Field. The two-day camp will take place Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14.
Prospect Camp will be conducted at Pitt Field at the University of Richmond and run from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday and from 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday. The camps are open to players enter into their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year. Costs vary depending on position. Registration costs are as follows: Pitcher Only $150, Position Player Only $200, or Pitcher and Position Player $250. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required with the balance due on the first day of camp.

Camp Details
These camps offer ballplayers with
a desire to play at the highest level of college baseball an opportunity to be
instructed by and compete in front of the University of Richmond coaching staff
and other college coaches. Our camps continue to draw players from across the
country and have gained a great reputation for the structured environment that
is provided. All players will receive instruction, be evaluated in a Pro Style
Clinic and Workout and will have the opportunity to participate in modified
game situations. The University of Richmond staff hopes to help these players
get the most out of their baseball ability.
Equipment
Proper baseball attire is preferred. Campers should bring turf shoes or
sneakers. Each camper will be provided with an official University of Richmond
baseball t-shirt.
Camp Features
Each day of camp will feature
either offensive or defensive instruction from the University of Richmond
baseball coaching staff and live games. The Pro Style Workout will consist of
arm grades, 60 yard dash times, and on-field batting practice.
