The Spiders faced the ranked duo squads of No. 23 ranked Can Cetinel and Carlos Lopez Villa and the No. 34 duo of Wesley Barrett and Tim Schweig.
Ethan Dunbar started his singles play out strong defeating Villa in the first set 4-6 but couldn't hold on for the win.
The Spiders fall to 2-2 this season.
