LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Richmond women's basketball team fell to the Liberty Flames, 76-61, Tuesday night at the Vines Center. The Flames shot a season-high 51.9 percent from the field to claim the victory.
Richmond (3-4) was led by two freshmen Spiders in double figures, as Janelle Hubbard scored 14 points, while Olivia Healy added 11 points and led the team with seven rebounds.

The Spiders were unable to snap Liberty's momentum as the Flames led for the entire contest. Richmond came as close as 12 points with 7:45 left to play but could not cut the deficit.
The Flames connected on 10-of-17 from behind the arc, while out rebounding the Spiders, 47-23, to score 34 points in the paint.
The Spiders will return home to the Robins Center after a four-game road swing Saturday to host UNC Wilmington at 2 p.m.
