Spiders Fall At Dayton In A-10 Opener

DAYTON, OHIO -- Richmond fell at Dayton, 4-0, Saturday night in both teams' conference opener.
The Flyers (6-4-1, 1-0) notched a goal eight minutes into the game by way of sophomore Ashley Campbell. Campbell would end with a hat trick. Stephanie Emery would add the other score for the Flyers.
Richmond (3-6-2, 0-1) was led by Kaleigh Kurtz's three shot attempts. Emily Kelly had a team-high two saves for the Spiders.
After eight-straight road games, the Spiders return to Robins Stadium Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. to host the Saint Louis Billikens.
