Women Spiders Beat Albany
03/17/2015 | Women's Tennis
Richmond, Va - Spiders found a win against UAlbany yesterday after being down at times in several different matches. Temperatures in the mid seventies helped draw a nice crowd as the women walk away with a 4-3 victory.
Adadias and Kandinata win doubles, 8-6. Singles victories: Rosales 6-3,6-1, Kandinata 6-1,6-3, Williams 6-3,7-6,8-6, Salas 6-1,7-6,8-3.
"Albany is a very solid team. We had to fight for every point. I'm happy with the way we battled but we have some work to do." Says Coach Wesselink. "Rosales and Kandinata are both building confidence with each match and Williams and Salas are so strong at their positions."
