Women's Tennis Team Wins Fifth Straight

Richmond, Va. - Richmond picked up its fifth-straight victory with a win over George Washington Sunday. Getting off to a quick start, the Spiders claimed the doubles point. Doubles matches were won by both Melissa Kandinata/ Anna Abadias Morales and Brittany Boys/ Katya Salas. Singles were won by Gaby Rosales, Melissa Kandinata, Kelsey Williams, and Katya Salas to secure the 5-2 victory.
"This was a key A-10 matchup." head coach Mark Wesselink said. "Our play under pressure was so strong today. The team's hard work and mental toughness are really paying off. Freshman Gaby Rosales has raised her game so quickly. She is just dominating."
