Spider Women's Tennis Downs Davidson 6-1

Davidson, N.C - The Spider women's tennis team prevailed Sunday afternoon against the Wildcats 6-1, at the Convington Tennis Courts. The two schools were playing each other for the ninth time, and first since 2012, with Richmond now holding an 8-1 advantage after the win yesterday.

"I was very happy with our first warm weather outdoor match," said coach Mark Wesslink with a smile. "Davidson will be a strong addition to the A-10 conference. I like the way our team is building confidence and persevering on the court."
