Women's Tennis Signee Earns High School All-American Honors

Soon-to-be Spider women's tennis student-athlete Bella Kuse has earned high school All American honors.
Kuse, an impressive five-star recruit from Marietta, Georgia, earned the award earlier this month from the National High School Tennis All-American Foundation. This year, Kuse led her Walton High School team to the State Championship, including a win over Roswell's Laura Patterson, a Georgia signee, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
"This award is a nice recognition of Bella's exceptional talent," said Spider women's tennis head coach Mark Wesselink. "She had wins over three players in the top 40. Her forehand is lethal. It's one of the best I've seen. She is also a strong doubles player. Bella already knows how to move at the net and really wants the ball. She is going to be a big part of our success next year."
The NHSTAAF awards the elite All-American status to the top 40 boys and girls high school tennis standouts in the United States, most of whom move on to compete for the top college tennis programs in the nation.
In addition to Kuse, the Spiders' incoming freshmen class also includes Ana Ramirez, a four-star recruit from Mexico who spent her past three high school seasons in Texas.
