Teague Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – After posting back-to-back singles victories this past week, Canyon Teague of the University of Richmond men's tennis team was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week.
The Gahanna, Ohio native went 2-0 in singles action with both matches coming at the #2 spot in the Spiders' lineup.
Teague started his week off by taking down Amerigo Contini of Virginia Tech, 3-6, 6-4, 10-3 in singles action. The Hokies entered this past week ranked #19 in the country.
Teague's week continued with a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (8) win over St. Bonaventure's Victor Blanco. It helped the Spiders lock up a 7-0 win over the Bonnies.
Richmond is back in action this Sunday when they travel to Davidson. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
