Spiders Take Two Victories At Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – If you talk to any member of the University of Richmond men's tennis team, you'll find out quickly just how good the chemistry is on this year's squad.
That chemistry was on display on Saturday when the Spiders rolled to back-to-back sweeps of Lehigh to improve to 4-2 this spring.
Junior James Aronson and redshirt freshman John Karlawish picked up two singles victories each and combined for a doubles win to lead the way on the afternoon.
In the first match of the day, Aronson battled his way to a 5-7, 7-5, 10-5 win at the fifth singles position to complete the 7-0 sweep. The Spiders rolled to straight set victories in all the other singles matches in the first contest.
In the nightcap, Richmond swept the doubles matches to claim the first point and quickly won three straight set singles matches to grab the 4-0 win.
Richmond hits the road again next Saturday to take on Coastal Carolina. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
