DELAND, Fla. – The Spiders wrapped-up a three-game series with a tough Stetson team on Sunday afternoon. The Spiders battled but fell to the Hatters, 5-1.Â

Behind two hits in the third, Stetson (13-1) grabbed a 1-0 lead. Richmond (7-7) threatened in the fifth, but the Hatters held UR at bay to hold on to their one-run advantage.

D.J. Lee crossed the dish thanks to an SU miscue and an RBI groundout from Sage Bruhl to cut the Hatters' lead to two in the eighth. Stetson responded with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning to go ahead, 5-1.
In the ninth, Richmond looked for an opportunity but Stetson held them at bay for the Sunday win.

On the mound, Robbie Baker logged 5.1 innings of work as he scattered four hits and registered four strikeouts. Antonio Balducci notched over an inning of work and held the Hatters hitless.
Richmond is set to conclude its trip in the Sunshine State with a midweek tilt at Jacksonville on Tuesday night. That game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start and will be available on ESPN3.Â
