Plantier Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- After leading the Spiders at the plate last week, Tyler Plantier picked Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors. In Richmond's five games last week, Plantier hit .471 with two doubles and one home run.

In addition, Plantier registered a .591 on base percentage, a .765 slugging percentage and one stolen base.

The Spiders won four of five games last week and close out the regular season at Virginia on Tuesday and a three-game series at Fordham Thursday-Sunday.
