
Dunbar Rounds Out Season With All-State Honor

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond women's tennis rookie Emily Dunbar has added another accolade to her resume in 2018 after posting one of the most successful freshman campaigns in program history.

Dunbar has been named Second Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) as a singles competitor after dominating A-10 play this season.

The 2018 Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Performer and Most Outstanding Rookie Performer, Dunbar went 11-8 at No. 1 singles in spring play, going 9-1 to round out the season. She took down the top players from VCU, UMass and Saint Joseph's, and did not drop a match during the A-10 Championship.
