He is rated 31st among points guards in class of 2020 by 247sports.com and 43rd by Rivals.com. Wilson was recruited by several other A-10 schools, including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and La Salle.Â
Wilson started his high school career at North Catholic in Pittsburgh, helping the school to back-to-back Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) titles and taking the team as far as the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 3A Semifinals in 2017. Wilson transferred to First Love following that season.Â
With no seniors or graduate transfers on the roster, the Spiders are scheduled to return all 12 scholarship players next season. The addition of Wilson will put the team at the NCAA limit of 13 scholarships in 2020-21.Â
