Claire Yioulos Signs With Spiders Golf

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Claire Yioulos, a senior at New York's Honeoye Falls-Lima High School, has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Richmond. Yioulos, the 2019 All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year in Women's Golf, will join the Spiders women's golf team this fall.

Yioulos, who competes on a combined team with nearby Victor High School, finished tied for 11th at the 2019 New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Championship with a 36-hole total of 165 (+21). In 2018, she finished tied for 25th in the event.

Yioulos told the Mendon Honeoye Falls Lima Sentinel that Richmond "felt perfect for me" after she visited the campus. She is planning to major in finance at the Robins School of Business.
