OL Tim Coleman, DL Darius Reynolds Join Coach Huesman On Thursday's Behind The Web

A full, hour-long edition of Behind The Web with Head Football Coach Russ Huesman, presented by Davenport & Company LLC, goes in the trenches with special players guests offensive lineman Tim Coleman and defensive lineman Darius Reynolds this Thursday from noon-1pm on ESPN Richmond and RichmondSpiders.com. The program will be held virtually, in-studio style, due to Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines.   Reynolds and Coleman were scheduled to appear on last week's show, which was abbreviated after the announcement that the Spiders' game against JMU would not be played.

Reynolds, a redshirt senior from Yorktown was named CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Elon March 27 at Robins Stadium. Reynolds posted a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks in the victory as the Spiders limited the Phoenix to only 243 yards of total offense, 21 on the ground. He becomes the first Spider since Maurice Jackson (vs. UAlbany, 2019) to record at least three sacks in a game.

Coleman, a redshirt senior from Stone Mountain, Ga, who has started 26 consecutive games, anchors an offensive line that has paved the way for the Spiders offense to average 179 yards rushing, 385 total yards and 30 points per game. He was named Second Team All CAA in 2019.

Behind The Web, co-hosted by Voice of the Spiders Bob Black and Assistant Athletic Director for Communications Matt McCollester, is scheduled to air every Thursday during the Spiders' spring football season. The program, airing live on ESPN 99.5 and 102.7 FM and 950 AM, will be archived on the podcast page of RichmondSpiders.com and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com.
