Spider Football & CAA Football Announce Start Times For 2021 Season

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond athletic department, in conjunction with Colonial Athletic Association Football, has announced the start times for all home games at Robins Stadium and all road CAA games for the 2021 fall football season. All six of the Spiders' home games will kick-off this season at 2 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
The Spiders open the season with back-to-back home games for the first time since 1999 and the first time in Robins Stadium history. Richmond kicks off the season Sept. 4 hosting Howard before hosting Lehigh from the Patriot League.
The Spiders open CAA Football play Sept. 18 at Villanova at 3:30 p.m. The kickoff time for the Spiders' final non-conference game at Virginia Tech (Sept. 25) will be announced at a later day at the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Richmond opens the home portion of CAA Football action Oct. 2 against Elon on Family Weekend at 2 p.m. The Spiders also welcome in James Madison Oct. 16 after a bye week. Two-straight road come next at Stony Brook Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. and New Hampshire Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.
Richmond holds its annual Homecoming game November 6 against Towson. Richmond closes out the home portion of the regular season Nov. 13 hosting Delaware. All home games will be at 2 p.m. The 132nd meeting of The South's Oldest Rivalry, the Capital Cup will be hosted by William & Mary Nov. 20 at 3:30 p.m. in Williamsburg.
All six home games will be produced by SpiderTV and are scheduled to air live on NBC Sports Washington or NBC Sports Washington Plus this fall. All Spiders home games and CAA Football road games will be streamed on FloFootball via the CAA Football video streaming agreement and can be signed up for HERE.
