Dunbar, Salemyr Win in Doubles at VCU

RICHMOND, Va. – The Spiders dropped their match to crosstown rival VCU Wednesday afternoon, 7-0, at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.
VCU (6-1) won by default on Court 3 and then clinched the doubles point on Court 2 as the duo of Paola Diaz Delgado and Laura Astudillo defeated Richmond's (1-3) Carly Cohen and Marta Buendia, 6-4.
On Court 1, Richmond's pair of Emily Dunbar and Sara Salemyr battled for a 7-6 win over Gabriela Davidescu and Shivani Manjanna to improve to 2-1 in doubles competition this season.
