#16/19 Spiders Strike Gold Against Duquesne

Richmond, Va.— The University of Richmond women's lacrosse team put together one of its most complete team wins of the season Friday afternoon at Robins Stadium, taking down Duquesne, 17-8.
Ten different Spiders found the back of the cage as Richmond won its 10th regular-season conference game in a row to improve to 3-0 against A-10 foes so far in 2022.
Colleen Quinn tallied four goals while Arden Tierney, Sophia DiCenso, Lindsey Frank and Evelyn Roberts each added two and Marina Miller, Hannah Custer, Grace Muldoon, Sarah Roycroft and Nicole Concannon each chipped in one.
The Spiders (9-2, 3-0) maintained control of the possession game throughout, scooping 15 ground balls and winning 21 draw controls compared to the Dukes' eight. Tierney was a force in the draw circle, breaking her own program single-game record of 14 draw controls with 17 successful ones against the Dukes (3-7, 0-3).
Frank dished a season-high four assists, while Quinn and Roycroft tallied two and Tierney, DiCenso and Kendall Duffy had one each.
In net, Delaney Galvin recorded 11 saves to earn the win while Duquesne used two keepers (7 total saves) in the loss.
The Spiders look to remain perfect both at home and in conference when it hosts Saint Joseph's Sunday at 1 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
