Chris Mooney Undergoes Successful Surgery

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Richmond Men's Basketball Head Coach Chris Mooney underwent successful surgery to remove an aneurysm in his ascending aorta at University of Virginia Medical Center Tuesday. The procedure was performed by Dr. John Kern.

Mooney is resting comfortably and will remain in the hospital for the next 4-5 days before being released to continue his recovery at home.
