Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic for 21st Consecutive Year

Continuing its long tradition of academic excellence and achievement, the University of Richmond women's track & field team was named All-Academic by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 21st consecutive year.

In order to be named an All-Academic team, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institutions NCAA Squad List must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The women earn the 2023 honor with a 3.44 team GPA.

"As a coach, I am incredibly proud of the University of Richmond Spiders women's track & field team for their remarkable achievement of earning NCAA All-Academic honors for 21 consecutive years," said Lori Taylor, Director of Track & Field and Cross Country. "This accomplishment exemplifies the unwavering commitment, dedication, and intellectual prowess of our extraordinary student-athletes. It is a testament to their ability to excel not only on the field of competition but also in the classroom. They embody the true spirit of student-athletes and serve as an inspiration to all who strive for excellence in athletics and academics.
