"The punter from down under," the Australian native Trusler has a net punt average of 42.15, the fourth best mark in the nation. Trusler is responsible for three of
the 10 longest punts in program history with kicks of 76, 75 and 74 yards. In Saturday's victory at Hampton, Trusler faked a punt and ran 13 yards for a first down, the second time in his career he's faked a punt that resulted in the Spider offense keeping the ball.
Pending the Spiders' playoff schedule, Behind The Web will return with shows during the postseason. Updates will be available at richmondspiders.com and on Richmond's social media platforms. All shows are archived on richmondspiders.com and at espnrichmond.com for on demand listening.
Behind The Web is a production of Spider Sports Properties from Playfly Sports and ESPN Richmond, the radio home of the Spiders for 19 consecutive years. In addition to Bar West, Spider sponsors for the show are University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies, Luck Chevrolet, Bryant Heating and Cooling, Invest529 and World of Beer.
