Spider Baseball Releases 2025 Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond baseball head coach Mik Aoki announced the program's 2025 schedule Friday. The season begins February 14 with 20 of the team's first 23 games at UR's Malcolm U. Pitt Field. The Spiders have eight non-conference contests against Virginia programs and four against programs from Maryland, including hosting Navy to open the season. Also on the Spiders slate are games against teams in the ACC, America East, Big Ten, Big South, CAA, MAAC, NEC, Patriot League, Sun Belt and SoCon.
After hosting a weekend series against Navy, UR welcomes Fairfield (Feb. 21-23) then takes a quick trip to Raleigh to face NC State (Feb. 25). As part of the Central Virginia Challenge, Richmond will face Penn State (Feb. 28), Boston College (Mar. 1) and Toledo (Mar. 2) before hosting Towson (Mar. 4) and BC (Mar. 5) for midweek contests.
UMass Lowell and Lafayette come to Pitt Field (Mar. 7-9) to open Spring Break. The visiting squads will also face each other in neutral site contests before taking on the Spiders. Longwood comes to town first (Mar. 11) before Richmond returns the favor and heads to Farmville (Apr. 22).
UR begins the Atlantic 10 Conference schedule earlier than usual, hosting St. Bonaventure (Mar. 14 – 16) at Pitt Field. The Spiders will take on 10 of the league's 11 foes. Along with SBU, UR will host Fordham (Mar. 28-30), UMass (Apr. 11-13), Saint Louis (Apr. 25-27) and Davidson (May 15-17). A-10 road series include Saint Joseph's (Mar. 21-23), Rhode Island (Apr. 4-6), George Washington (Apr. 18-20), Dayton (May 2-4) and reigning A-10 Champion VCU at The Diamond (May 9-11).
Midweek action around conference weekends includes road trips to face Virginia (Mar. 19), James Madison (Mar. 25), Old Dominion (Apr. 8), Coppin State (Apr. 15) and a home contest against ODU (May 13).
