March 2 Men's Basketball Game vs VCU is Sold Out

RICHMOND, Va. – The Spider men's basketball game vs VCU on March 2, the second leg of the Richmond Area Honda Dealers Capital City Classic, is sold out, Richmond Athletics announced Wednesday. It is the second Spiders game to sell out this season along with January 27, when Richmond defeated 16th-ranked Dayton before a capacity crowd of 7,201.
The game will tip at 6 PM and will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network. It will also air on the Spiders Sports Properties Radio Network on ESPN Richmond radio, with Bob Black and Greg Beckwith on the call. Members of Richmond's senior class will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
Limited tickets remain for Richmond's other four remaining games at the Robins Center, where the Spiders are 11-0 this season: Saturday vs La Salle, February 14 vs Massachusetts, February 24 vs Davidson, and March 6 vs Saint Joseph's.
