Arcamone Collects A-10 Baseball Rookie of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Baseball's Jack Arcamone was selected as Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Monday (April 29). This is Arcamone's first weekly league accolade and the program's fourth of the season.
Helping the Spiders to a 3-1 week as the designated hitter, Arcamone kicked off the week going two-for-three against Norfolk State, including a grand slam in the third inning.
Against St. Bonaventure, Arcamone logged five hits, with two doubles, and scored in each of the three road games. He finished the week hitting .412 with an on-base percentage of .444 and slugged .706.
The Spiders (20-24, 9-5 A-10) are back in action this weekend, hosting Dayton (28-15, 10-4) A-10) in A-10 action at Pitt Field Friday, May 3, with first pitch set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
