Pacheco Selected as NECBL All-Star Starter

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond baseball outfielder DJ Pacheco was named as a starter for the New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game, the organization announced. Pacheco, a native of Danvers, Mass., will represent the Upper Valley Nighthawks on the West Division Roster.
The NECBL All-Star Game will be played Sunday, July 21 at historic Muzzy Field, home of the Bristol Blues at 5 p.m. on ESPN-Plus. Festivities will begin with the Home Run Derby at 2:45 p.m. and will be streamed on the NECBL Network free-of-charge, powered by HudlTV.
In 28 games with the Nighthawks, Pacheco is hitting .304 with 28 hits, including six doubles and six home runs, 18 walks, 18 runs scored and 21 RBI. Pacheco has put together a .996 OPS, .565 slugging percentage and .431 OBP in 116 plate appearances.
