Bernstein Named to Jewish Baseball News All-America Team

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond baseball outfielder Phil Bernstein was named to the 16-person Jewish baseball News 2024 Collegiate All-America Team the organization announced.
In his first season in Richmond, Bernstein was an iron man roaming the outfield for the Spiders starting in 58 games in the outfield. Bernstein, a graduate student from Brooklyn, N.Y., was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team this season.
He led the team in hits (73), doubles (17), RBI (44) and walks (33) while he finished second on the team in avg (.330) and stolen bases (9). Bernstein tallied eight multi-RBI games, including two games with three (vs. Mount St. Mary's and George Washington), and four (vs. Mount St. Mary's) and five (vs Princeton) RBI. He led the team with a 26-game reached base streak to start the season which was snapped March 31.
