Aoki Announces 2026 Spider Baseball Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond baseball Head Coach Mik Aoki is excited to announce the 2026 schedule that includes six games against Big Ten opponents and three against ACC foes, as well as a full slate of Atlantic 10 Conference action.
The Spiders will host Monmouth to open the season Feb. 13-15, which kicks off a stretch of 20 of 22 games at home. In that span, UR will only head on the road to face 2025 ACC Champion and NCAA Super Regional team North Carolina (Feb. 17) and NCAA Tournament squad NC State (Feb. 24). Richmond defeated NC State last season 5-1 for the first time since 2014.
James Madison heads to Pitt Field for the first of two midweek contests in 2026 on Feb. 18 while Richmond returns the favor on April 14. Penn State swings by for an early four-game series (Feb. 20-22).
Cornell (Feb. 27-Mar. 1) kicks off 12-straight home games to close out February and start March. Longwood visits on Mar. 3 in midweek action before America East Champion and NCAA Tournament squad Binghamton heads to Pitt Field for the first time since the 2018 season on Mar. 6-8.
Coppin State is set for a Mar. 10 match-up at Pitt Field as the Spiders gear up for the Atlantic 10 Conference season opener against Saint Joseph's Mar. 13-15. UR will host Big Ten foe Maryland to close out the homestand on Mar. 17.
The Spiders will then head on the road to face Fordham (Mar. 20-22) and Old Dominion (Mar. 25). UR will host a quick league series at home against reigning A-10 Champion Rhode Island (Mar. 27-29) before closing the month completing a home and home series against Maryland in College Park (Mar. 31).
Richmond will head to Philadelphia to take on La Salle for the first time since the 2015 season on April 3-5. The following weekend, UR will stay on the road in league action to play George Mason April 10-12 in Fairfax before closing its eight-game road trip against James Madison (Mar. 14).
Richmond will open an eight-game home stand with midweek action against Old Dominion (April 15) before hosting Dayton in A-10 play (April 17-19). William and Mary will swing by Pitt Field April 21. The crosstown rivalry series between Richmond and VCU will take place April 24-26 at Pitt Field.
The Spiders will head to Davidson to open the month of May (May 1-3). George Washington will close out the Spiders home slate May 8-10. UR will then finish the regular season on the road, first taking on in-state rival Virginia (May 12) before heading to Missouri to face Saint Louis to close out league play. Last season, UR beat then nationally ranked UVA, 6-2, for the first time since 2018.
