Reinke Collects A-10 Pitcher of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond relief pitcher Brian Reinke was named Atlantic 10 Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday evening. This is his second career weekly honor and the program's first of the 2025 of the season.
Reinke went 2-0 in two relief appearances over 7.2 innings of work, allowing only one hit and striking out seven. He picked up the win at NC State (Feb. 25) after tossing four and a third of an inning, striking out four. Against Toledo (Mar. 2), he allowed one hit then retired eight straight including three strikeouts.
For the season, Reinke is 2-0 in five relief appearances over 11.2 innings of work. He has a .077 ERA, allowing one run on four hits, two walks, two hit batters and 11 strikeouts.
The Spiders are back in action Wednesday, hosting Boston College at Pitt Field. First pitch is set for 1:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
