The Hawks took a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning on two hits and a Spider miscue.

In the bottom of the ninth, Dylan Winebrenner extended the inning with a two-out base hit. Elko reached after getting hit by a pitch to put two on for Ryan Recio. The game ended with a check swing called a strike to complete a strikeout by the umpire at first.
