Wilson Collects Fourth A-10 Under Armour Baseball Rookie of the Week This Season

RICHMOND, Va. – Spider Baseball's Evan Wilson has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Under Armour Baseball Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season. Wilson collected the weekly honor on March 23 and April 20 and 28.
Against George Washington, he came off the bench to hit a walk-off grand slam in the 11th inning to collect a 10-6 victory on Senior Day Saturday. Starting in the outfield on Sunday, he had one hit and drew two walks while scoring three times in the 13-1 victory in seven innings.
On the season, Wilson is hitting .344 with 42 hits, including 10 doubles and nine home runs. He has 28 RBI, 33 runs scored, 22 walks and 12 hit by pitches, with a 1.135 OPS and .648 slugging percentage in 39 games played with 34 starts. He also has eight stolen bases.
