RICHMOND, Va. – Evan Wilson hit a walk-off grand slam in the 11^th inning to capture 10-6 Senior Day victory for the Richmond Spiders over the George Washington Revolutionaries Saturday at Pitt Field. It was Wilson's ninth home run of the season and his first collegiate grand slam.

Richmond, now 29-21 on the year and 16-10 in Atlantic 10 Conference action, and George Washington, now 18-31 on the season and 9-17 in league play, return to Pitt Field Sunday for the series finale and the last regular season home game. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.

Richmond took a quick lead in the first inning when Michael Elko hit a solo home run to deep center field. Aidan O'Keefe put the Spiders up 2-0 with a RBI hit to left, scoring Dylan Winebrenner.

UR extended the lead to 4-0 in the second when RJ Johnson Jr. brought in two with a base hit to right, scoring Chris Schaller and Elko.

GW got their only run off UR starter Joey Giordano in the third with a solo home run. Giordano scattered three hits, four walks and four strikeouts over six innings on the day. The Revs jumped on Spider reliever Chayse Gruber, scoring two runs on two hits in the top of the seventh and a solo home run in the eighth to tie the game at 4-4. In the top of the ninth, GW took a 6-4 lead on two walks, two sacrifice bunts and a Spider miscue.

In the bottom of the ninth, Johnson Jr. launched a two-run home run to tie the game at 6-6. Elko, who led off the frame with a walk, also scored on the home run.

Dylan Siesky collected the victory, taking over for Dom Ruggiero in the ninth. Siesky allowed two inherited runs to score, allowed one hit, hit one, and walked two over three innings of work.

In the 11th inning, Johnson Jr. collected the Spiders 100^th stolen base of the season.
