2011 (Senior): Only player to appear and start in all 58 games for the Spiders ...
Hit .307 on the season with seven home runs, 18 doubles, two triples, and 70
RBIs ... Led the team win batting average, slugging percentage (.496), on-base
percentage (.390), runs scored (43), hits (70), RBIs, doubles, and homers ... His
36 walks ranked fourth in the Atlantic 10 ... Knocked in a season-best four runs
against William and Mary on April 6 ... Had a pair of homers and RBIs against
Coppin State on February 23 ... Went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two doubles
against Dayton on April 17 ... Also drove in three runs against Rhode Island on
April 23.
2010 (Junior): Played and started in 51
of the 52 games... Hit above .300 for the second-straight season (.307)...
Finished third on the club in multiple-hit games (19) and tied Chris Cowell for
the team lead in multiple-RBI games (15)... Homered 12 times, which doubled his
previous career total for homers entering the season... Finished with 12
homers, 12 doubles and 12 stolen bases -- all were career-highs... Had two
hits, a homer and three RBI versus Oklahoma... Matched his career high with
three hits and two doubles versus Ohio State... Homered in four times over a
six-game late-season stretch... Was held hit-less is just seven games all
season, but in four of those seven games he reached base via walk or
hit-by-pitch.
2009 (Sophomore): Finished his
sophomore campaign with eight hits in the final six games to boost his average
to a career-best .301 for the year... Played and started in 45 of the team's 47
games... Posted a team-leading 19 multi-hit games in 2009... Set a career-high
with four runs scored in a win over Iona on Feb. 28... Drove in a career-best
five runs versus Temple on May 1... Led the team with 41 RBI and was third with
his six home runs.
2008 (Freshman): Atlantic 10
All-Rookie selection... Started a team-leading 52 games and was the only Spider
to play in all 53 contests... Batted .287 and had at least one hit in all but
12 games... His 19-game hitting streak from March 5 until April 5 was the
team's second-longest (Hank Coogan's 21)... Went seven-for-13 over a three-game
stretch versus Xavier, George Mason and Temple with six runs, five RBI and two
doubles... Belted his first collegiate home run during a March 1 game versus
Seton Hall... Posted a career-high four RBI on two occasions - versus Old
Dominion on March 19 and Temple on April 11... His first career grand slam came
in the ODU game.
High School: Played his prep
ball for former Spider Mike Dwyer '99 at North Rockland (N.Y.)... A two-year
varsity letterwinner and led his team with a .396 average as a junior and
batted .320 as a senior... His 36 hits, 26 runs, 19 RBIs and five triples were
also team highs during his junior campaign... Named First Team All-League,
All-Country and All-Section honors as a junior... Was the ace of his prep staff
both seasons, going 6-3 in 2007.
