Made 11 relief appearances over nine innings of work allowing eight runs (seven earned) on six hits, 12 walks and struck out 10 for a 7.00 ERA
Faced four batters in his collegiate debut against Navy, allowing an unearned run on one hit and two walks and captured his first strikeout
Struck out a season-high two batters in three appearances, including Penn State, Coppin State and Longwood
Tossed a season-high two innings at Longwood, only allowing one runner to reach via a walk
Held opponents scoreless over 6.2 innings of relief work, including A-10 foes Fordham, George Washington and Saint Louis

Prep: A four-year varsity starter and team captain for the Gryphon Baseball program. In 2023, Young led the league with 79 strikeouts and put together a 0.74 ERA with a no hitter. He collected Peninsula Player of the Year honors as well as All-Peninsula First Team accolades for a second season. With travel baseball team Alpha Baseball, he helped the squad to a 2022 USA Baseball National Team Championship and 2021 PBR West Summer Championship.
