MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team defeated Barry University, 5-2, Wednesday afternoon at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex in Florida. The Spiders' record improves to 5-5 with the win, while the Buccaneers' record falls to 9-3.
Barry University won the doubles point and took the early 1-0 lead against the Spiders. However, Richmond responded winning five of the six singles matches. The Buccaneers played with only five players, which resulted in the Spiders posting two wins by default.
