Spider Field Hockey Announces 2005 Spring Schedule

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - After recording its third-consecutive NCAA berth, equaling a school record for wins in a season (18) and breaking the team single-season scoring record (79), the Richmond field hockey squad will go back to work this spring, beginning tomorrow, to prepare for its 2005 fall campaign.
Head coach Ange Bradley released her team's plans for the 2005 spring, which includes a home contest Thursday, Feb. 17 at 4 p.m. against Gooische on the turf at Crenshaw Field. Gooische is a traveling Dutch club team which just faced Old Dominion.
Bradley also has trips to Old Dominion, an 2004 NCAA Tournament team, March 26 and to William & Mary, April 9, planned during the spring. The Spiders will take part in two tournaments this spring, the first is set for April 2 at the U.S. National Field Hockey Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., and the second will take place April 16 at Crenshaw Field on the University of Richmond campus.
