UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The baseball game scheduled between the Richmond Spiders and the Northeastern Huskies on Saturday has been canceled. Rain and potential thunderstorms forecasted for later Saturday afternoon forced the cancelation of Saturday's contest at Pitt Field.
The Spiders and the Huskies will try to play a game on Sunday at Pitt Field, weather permitting. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m., but fans are encouraged to check RichmondSpiders.com or follow the team on Twitter - @SpiderBaseball - for the latest information.
