@SpiderHockey Takes Over Northern Ireland & Ireland

The Richmond field hockey team will spend the duration of spring break exploring Northern Ireland and Ireland, while incorporating competition and education on the nine-day international excursion.

Friday, March 7 – Northern Ireland, Ireland Trip Preview
5:30 p.m. – Depart the University of Richmond on Groome Transportation for Dulles Airport
10:00 p.m. – Depart Dulles Airport on United Airlines to Dublin Airport
Saturday, March 8 - Instagram Slide Show - Blog
10:05 a.m. – Arrive in Dublin on United Airlines from Dulles Airport
Collection at Airport and depart for Limerick
11:30 a.m. – Lunch stop at Lethean Restaurant (65 Main Street, Portlaoise)
2:30 p.m. – Camogie session with local team
Check into the Absolute Hotel Limerick
Dinner at the Barry Residence in Frairstown Hill, Limerick

8:30 a.m. – Breakfast in hotel
9:30 a.m. – Explore Limerick City and St. John's Castle
11:00 a.m. – Board Bus to Cliffs of Moher
12:00 p.m. – Lunch and sight seeing at Cliffs of Moher
2:00 p.m. – Stop at Galway Shopping Centre, pick up pre-match meal, walking tour of Galway
Bus collection and taken to match
6:00 p.m. – Match 1 against Connacht Select XI (Dangan Regional Sports Centre, St. Anne's Road)
8:00 p.m. – Post-match festivities with opposition. Food delivered
