Baseball's A-10 Opening Series at Davidson Canceled

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The three-game series between Spider baseball and the Davidson Wildcats has been cancelled due to inclement weather and poor field conditions. Rain moved into the Davidson area Friday and did not let up throughout the weekend. The conditions at Wilson Field were deemed unplayable and the conference opener for each school is cancelled.
The Spiders return to the field Tuesday as they'll face the Virginia Tech Hokies in games Tuesday and Wednesday in Blacksburg, Va.
