RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's basketball team outscored Davidson 22-10 in the fourth quarter to earn a 69-57 home win against Davidson Sunday afternoon at the Robins Center.
"Proud of the way our defense played in the fourth quarter," head coach Aaron Roussell said. "It wasn't perfect but we kept our poise. The big thing was contesting their shots and really proud of how we defended."
Richmond (9-11, 2-4 A-10) has won two-straight Atlantic 10 games and knocked off Davidson, who was previously unbeaten in league play. Senior Jaide Hinds-Clarke (Westwood, N.J.) had an all-around great game with 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and five steals.
"I was really proud of her today," Roussell said. "She gave us a ton of energy and had to be on the floor."
Sophomore Claire Holt (Hoover, Ala.) finished with 14 points off 6-for-11 shooting and sophomore Kate Klimkiewicz (Oakton, Va.) added 12 points. Sophomore Madelyn Neff (Hayward, Wis.) started for the second-straight game and had nine points and three rebounds. Freshman Angel Burgos (Richmond, Va.) gave the Spiders a spark in the first half with a fast break layup, a steal and an assist.

Richmond outscored Davidson 16-4 to end the second quarter.
Davidson battled back to tie the game at 47-47 after three quarters. The Wildcats outscored Richmond 18-15 but Hinds-Clarke kept the game tied with a final seconds three-pointer to go into the fourth tied at 47-47.
