Blake Francis Joins Coach Mooney For Behind The Web Monday At 6pm On ESPN Richmond

Leading scorer Blake Francis will be the special player guest on Behind The Web with Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Mooney this Monday, Jan. 11 from 6-7pm on ESPN Richmond and RichmondSpiders.com.  The in-studio style program will be held virtually due to Covid-19 guidelines.Â

Francis is averaging 16.1 ppg overall, tenth in the Atlantic 10. In the Spiders' most recent game, a 77-57 victory at George Mason, Francis, from nearby Herndon, Va. scored 13 points, while adding six rebounds, three assists and four steals. He has been in double figures in 11 of the Spiders' 12 games this season, and has eclipsed 20 points three times, including a season-high 27 against Loyola Chicago.
Coach Mooney, along with the Spider broadcast team of Bob Black and Greg Beckwith, will review the victories over Rhode Island and George Mason, and preview Saturday's Capital City Classic presented by the Richmond Area Honda Dealers versus VCU. That game is scheduled for a 1pm tipoff at the Robins Center.Â
The program, airing live on ESPN 99.5 and 102.7 FM and 950 AM, will be archived on the SpiderTV On Demand page and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com.Â
Behind The Web with Coach Chris Mooney is presented by Food Lion, Luck Chevrolet, BrightSuite, CarMax and Geico. The program is scheduled to air each week through the remainder of the college basketball season.Â
