Spider Hockey Collects 12th-Straight NFHCA/Zag Sports National Academic Team Award

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond field hockey team excelled in the classroom this past fall, earning National Field Hockey Coaches Association/Zag Sports National Academic Team Award accolades for the 12th-straight year.
The NCAA Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2020-21 school year.
Richmond is one of 79 NCAA Division I programs to receive the honor this year. All eight Atlantic 10 programs were honored with the National Academic Team Award this season.
