Stockman and Snow Notch Top-Seven Finishes at James Madison

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The University of Richmond women's cross country team was in action Friday afternoon at James Madison. The Spiders earned a third-place team finish, led by Elizabeth Stockman (Rocky Hill, Conn.) and Lily Snow (Richmond, Va.). Stockman turned in a second-place finish and Snow added a top-10 time, finishing seventh in the 5.2 kilometer race.
Stockman's 18:55.5 time was good for second in the race, finishing behind Radford's Hannah Moran. Snow added a time of 19:52.2 for seventh in the 5.2-kilometer race. Kate McAndrew (Denville, N.J.) was the next Spider in, finishing 14th at 20:23.4, and Anna George (Montville, N.J.) notched a 17th-place finish at 20:46.7.
The trio of Isabel Blaylock (Dallas, Texas), Laurel Kurtz (Flemington, N.J.) and Emily Rzucidlo (Garnet Valley, Pa.) finished in succession at 23rd, 24th and 25th with times of 21:13.6, 21:16.8 and 21:18.0, respectively. Sophomore Manon Stephen (Basking Ridge, N.J.) added a 22:03.6 time. Lindsay Colflesh (Haddonfield, N.J.) was the next Spider in at 22:06.2. Kathryn Shea (Hartford, Conn.) and Kendra Smither (Richmond, Va.) finished at 23:23.2 and 23:52.0, respectively.
The Spiders are back in action in October as they open the new month at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa. on the first.
