Richmond bats broke open the game in the sixth, tallying three runs on three hits and a MSM miscue. Pacheco doubled in Topolski, after he led off with a base hit and stolen base. Elbeery drew a walk, then stole second while Pacheco scored on the mishandle by The Mount middle infielders. Elbeery scored the third run on Jordan Jaffe's liner back through the infield.
Elbeery launched his first home run of the season in the bottom of the eighth, a two-run shot to right field, to make it 8-0.
In the second game, Richmond bats stayed hot early, scoring two runs in the first two innings and one in the third to go up 5-0 and push The Mount's starter out of the game after two frames.
Bernstein picked up Aaron Whitley from third, then Jaffe scored on Lass' bases loaded walk in the first. Bernstein then legged out a two-RBI double to center to push in Whitley and Jaffe to push MSM to go to their relievers with one out in the second, up 4-0.
